very fast ...but i didnt know it was coming....doc did it bc my dd was measuring very big and he was afraid since i wasnt progressing at all and i was four days until my due date that i would have to be induced....it was during my last internal before giving birth two days later....i remember flinching and saying ouch but it was over....i bled a lil and cramped for 24hrs before going into labor

I didn't know it was coming... doc mentioned it quick and started... it was quick though (1 min maybe) and pretty painful.. sorry. I had tears in my eyes. I wasn't expecting it though.. I think if I knew to brace myself it wouldn't have been as bad.

Not painful at all as I recall, maybe slightly uncomfortable, but not painful.
My doctor discussed it with me before it was done and it was up to me to do it really. I'm surprised doctors just do this without informing patients!
