yeast infection?

Not sure if I have one, but is there anything I can do or take?

I would rather not call the Dr. right now if I dont have to.

Thanks!

Re: yeast infection?

There are a lot of home remedies that people always recommend. I haven't tried any myself but I'M SURE YOU COULD DO A QUICK SEARCH & FIND SOMETHING. (sorry-didn't notice the caps)

I would still call the dr though

Re: yeast infection?

Dr. told me Monistat was fine. Not the 1 day but to use the 3 day one.

Re: yeast infection?

I hate Monistat - makes me feel so icky and uncomfortable.

Donna I had one between retrieval and transfer - I drank 1 T of apple cider vinegar mixed with water 3 times a day and in 2 days it was gone.

I've also read acedophilous (sp?) pills work.

I'd try something holistic before using that stuff --- esp. if you aren't sure if it is a yeast infection.

Re: yeast infection?

I take acidophilus pills(ok'd by my doc to take everyday if i want), drink lots of water and lay off sweets for a little bit.

I only use the monistat (7 day one) on the outside for any itching or irritation.

I got one very early in pregnancy and I couldn't use Monistat...the girls here recommended eating 2 Stonyfield yogurts a day, and it miraculously helped!
