Your big trip before having children..
What is the one place you want to visit before having kids? I really want to go to Italy before having them. I think it'd be too hectic to see all of it with kids. Islands you can always do with children. Anyone plan on/went to Italy before starting a family?

That was the plan but didn't happen that way
Looks like we are finally going to Italy in May. DS will be 4 years old but is staying with grandparents

Kenya. DH and I really want to go there and do a safari and a few other African countries. I've been to South Africa and I just loved it. So much that I want to see so much more of Africa. DH has never been, so am always telling him how great it is. I want to go with him to complete my "African feel".

South Africa and Peru (Machu Picchu). Everywhere else I want to go I have no problem bringing my child to. We plan on going to Italy in 3 years (and will start ttc next fall)

We did!
We did a 12 day Mediterranean cruise with a short before-cruise and after-cruise stay in Italy. It was an amazing vacation. We want to do one more big vacation before TTC... still trying to decide where. I would love to do Australia or Africa but that might not work out with time and $.

We did already!
We did an African Safari in Tanzania for our honeymoon and we did Europe last month. I would love to do more traveling, but I am satisfied knowing that I was at least able to do some big trips before settling down with a family

We went on a Meditteranean Cruise this past September. This TTc thing is taking longer than expected, so I am hoping to sneak in a trip to Aruba in there!

Italy. I told Dh that I will not have children till he takes me there...lol His family lives there most of the year, so we have somewhere to stayt, so c'mon

Ireland and Vegas!!
We will be in Vegas 3 weeks from today and Ireland trip is starting to get planned for May of 2007. We might try to start TTC in Ireland!! hehe

i would love to do a mediterannian cruise... we already have a trip planned for 2007 with friends, so i guess the mediterranian cruise will have to wait till 2008...

We did Greece and Panama. We are TTC now but if it takes longer than we thought we are probably going to go to Brazil and Italy and maybe Costa Rica.

We talked about Italy a lot, but now we are trying. So if I don't get there in time it is okay with me. Dh and I have gone on a lot of vacations together.

We did Ireland, Italy, Spain, Croatia, France & Monte Carlo (THANKFULLY) on our HM...we knew we were going to TTC right away, I'm soooooooooo thankful we got to these places prior to kids.

We just did Paris. I would like to do Italy, but I don't think that will happen anytime soon since we are TTC. We're old already.....
