Your COVID + symptoms
What were your COVID + symptoms?
We all know what the symptoms are but interested to see if there’s a trend on some of the more common symptoms, especially how it starts.

Re: Your COVID + symptoms
Mine started with a tickle in my throat that made me cough. I really thought it was allergies because I had missed my Nightly Zyrtec. I felt great all day-just the tickle
I’ll list my symptoms in order they came:
Tickle Full body pain Low grade fever Moderate fever Extreme exhaustion Coughing Loss of taste and smell (lasted about 4-5 days and still now after reconvert it comes and goes) Trouble taking deep breaths Pneumonia Extreme anxiety Very very weak - almost no strength Diarrhea (had this once during the middle of Covid and then everyday for 3 days at the end)
Mentally .... the mental anguish was difficult. The fear and overwhelming sense of sadness. A lot of crying. For it feeling well and gratefulness to people around me.

Your COVID + symptoms
I didn’t have it but my mom did these were her symptoms: - 1 week of extreme abdominal pain/ nausea/ vomiting that came and went - tiredness, not exhaustion - went to the ER thinking she had appendicitis, swabbed positive for covid and has a chest x-ray; pneumonia was already present - then the coughing came a few days after that so two weeks after the stomach pain stated - low oxygen - no ability to eat - more nausea/ vomiting - brain fog
My mom is 8 month post covid with likely permanent lung and airway damage. She also has an enlarged heart now due to constant steroid use because she can’t breath. She can no longer work because she sleeps most of the day when she has bad days. She can’t breathe, can’t walk around much, she has to sit down after making her bed. Her life is forever changed and I blame it on my dad telling her masks aren’t effective and she was out and about mid spring and said “I’m not living like a caged animal” she’s now going to live in constant pain with trouble breathing for the rest of her life unless there is a way to reverse long term effects. Covid is no joke

Re: Your COVID + symptoms
Started with a headache that I dismissed as being dehydrated. The next day I woke up feeling shivery and achy with a low grade fever. That was the day I decided to get tested.
From there I went up and down. It was really the oddest sickness I have had. I never had any cough. I felt okay for the next 2 days while I waited for my results. I honestly thought I was fighting the flu because I had body aches like you have with the flu.
Then the exhaustion started. I was still working from home but would fall asleep on the couch in the middle of the day. Low appetite, loss of smell and taste The last few days I had stomach issues- heartburn and diarrhea. Mentally and physically I have never been so exhausted and it took me a few weeks to not stop feeling completely wiped out from taking the laundry basket downstairs! I am about 5 weeks from testing and my smell and taste are still strange. I smell burning all the time. Energy level is better but I still haven't started to work out again. I am in my 40's with no health issues.

Re: Your COVID + symptoms
Mine were mild flu symptoms. Congestion, aches and pains that were mild, very low fever. Main symptoms lasted less than a day. Still feeling a little under the weather a few days later but without a covid diagnosis I would have been out and about. I've had worse hangovers. I got lucky.

Your COVID + symptoms
I have it now. I didn't know I had it. I was tested because I had to travel. Looking back I had a headache one day that I thought was due to stress I was going through. No other symptoms so far thank God. I am sympathetic to all of you that experienced the symptoms you mentioned.
