zach had his tongue tie surgery yesterday

and it went great! i wanted to tell any mom who was thinking about the surgery about my experience with it.

i was sooo stressed about it b/c my ds is only 6 months and had to go under general anesthesia but it was quick.

he left my arms and 15 minutes later i was at his bed in recovery! he was very upset when he woke up but i was able to nurse him and then get him to sleep (we were up since 5am and he was exhausted!) and when he woke up 30 minutes later he was laughing and smiling! we didn't even have to give him tylenol.

when we got home he did better eating baby food then he ever did before. and he's been fine since! he's used the binkie a bit and still shoves his fingers in his mouth with no pain shown.

i'm sooo relieved that that is done with!

Good to know, DS has to have this done soon. so glad it went well!!!
