Zumba people--a question
I just took my first Zumba class at Lucille Roberts--but it was a "zumbathon" to raise money for breast cancer. So it wasn't a normal class...anyways, does Zumba have defined steps? I just felt like the whole class was people making crap up and just jumping and shaking their azzes! I tried to follow people in the class but everyone was doing something different.
Do normal classes actually teach the steps slowly, or do you just catch on after enough classes?

Re: Zumba people--a question
I have been to many classes and the instructors usually show the moves slowly so you can learn it and then the pace picks up
sometimes the moves are complicated (or I am not paying attention) and then i just dance

Re: Zumba people--a question
Once you start going to a regular class they use the same music and choreography every class for several weekes so you start to learn it, then they tend to rotate songs out and bring new songs in so you still recognize the steps... You will get it!!! Zumbathons are to really get the crowd going. Classes are more of the workout!!!

Definitely! I'm, at the point where I could do several of my instructor's routines at home with no mistakes.
