Anyone have children sharing a room ?

I am not pg but my child is 4. If I were to get pg soon, there will be a 5 year age gap. So we would possibly move baby # 2 at 6 months from our room to DD's room (and she would be around 5.5 years). Has anyone done this? DH is concerned about a baby waking up DD (DD didn't sleep through the night at 6 months but used to wake up for quick feedings). Any experiences? Thanks.

My DD’s share a room. They’re 3+ yrs apart.

I didn’t put them together until DD2 was weaned from night feedings. I actually think it made her fall asleep faster and easier because she wasn’t alone.

my kids are two years apart. In our first home they did share, but not until my daughter was 6 months old. We kept her in our room in a small crib, then we moved her to the room with my son, however, by the time she was four we had bought a new home so they each have their own room. It took us a long time to find a house, had we moved when we originally wanted they would have only shared for a few months.

I was gonna suggest this. Either by cosleeping or having a bassinet/crib in ur room til the baby sleeps throughout the night. This can help tremendously.
