What's your favorite cookbook(s)?

As everyone knows I love to cook/bake and as such, I have an extensive cookbook collection to fuel my passion. I really love collecting cookbooks of all kinds and reading through all of the stories between the recipes. I am always looking to add to my library of titles so I am curious if there are any favorites out there? Chat Icon Chat Icon

I love the Smitten Kitchen Cookbook (and all of the recipes on her site). Honestly Chrissy Teigen's Cravings Cookbook is really great.

My current favorite is the triology " How to make a deadly pandemic virus in your kitchen" followed by " How to make more deadly variants" and "Create your own vaccine for the made up virus to kill all the world's Population".

Re: What's your favorite cookbook(s)?

I love the Food Lab by Kenji, but I’m a huge Kenji fan.

The Perfect Scoop by Lebovitz

The Balthazar cookbook

The Cook’s Companion by Stephanie Alexander (this is really popular in Australia and I used it when I lived there and they have great recipes, but some ingredients might be hard to find)

Gordon Ramsay: Ultimate Cookery Course and Healthy Appetite

Indian Cookery Madhur Jaffrey

And then usually it’s lots of websites and blogs: Bon Appetit, BBC Good Food, Chefkoch, Skinnytaste, Damn Delicious, etc.

I have a few that I turn to a lot:

America’s test kitchen family cookbook

I also have a few of their paperback cooking leaflets. They are excellent.

Better homes and gardens new cookbook , I think mine is the 11the edition.

The paperback spiral cookbook that came with my kitchen aid mixer. It has the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe

I also collect temple sisterhood cookbooks. I have a few of them and use them for the holidays. They are such a good resource.

Thanks to pinterest, I've gotten rid of all my cookbooks except for the America's Test Kitchen Complete TV Show Cookbook. It's enormous and has literally everything in there.

I bought the Once Upon a Chef one for my mom bc I use her recipes constantly and they're airways amazing.

I love Skinnytaste recipes. I haven't actually bought a book but follow a Facebook Group and can usually find versions online.
