I typically shovel- but we have a snowblower that we use for over a foot. I don't use it as it is too big for me (sons and DK does) , but I dislike having to clean up the tracks and packed down snow it makes. Sometimes I think it's harder than shoveling on fresh snow.
Also, the way our driveway and neighbor's property is - it's hard to find a way to correctly aim the chute.
Golden Rod- I was thinking since this is supposedly a light snow with blowing winds, would one of those Covid face shields work in keeping the snow off your face, while snow-blowing, or will it be more of a nuisance with fogging and blowing/ melting snow?
The face shields won't keep anything out from the sides or bottoms, just the front, so I think it might make things worse. Snow and wind would get in from the sides, and get inside and outside full of snow. If you have one, it's worth trying it out for a minute or so, and if it doesn't work, just take it off. I wouldn't try and get one, though.
We have some- and what you said makes sense. My son will think I am nuts when I bring it out! Thanks for the reply
I will tell you from my one time experience wearing one at beginning of pandemic to screen patients at the gate of the hospital I work at…it was a rainy day and as soon as it started getting wet I couldn’t see anything…it needs windshield wipers

Re: How do you clear snow from your driveway?
DH uses the snowblower and usually I shovel his part of the driveway out for when he gets home from work (he works overnights) though now I guess I should learn how to use it (its a gas powered snowblower) since we're supposed to get 12-18 inches. We live on a corner so it's also a PITA because we have to clear two long sidewalks. Some people that live on corners don't even bother (like my neighbor across the street) but I feel bad since we are close to a HS and kids walk along the side of our street to get there.

How do you clear snow from your driveway?
DH goes out with the snowblower. We have sidewalks on 3 sides of our house (We're on a double corner), so the snowblower is one of the first purchases he made after we closed on the house. We use shovels on the front porch and deck.

DH shovels. We don’t have a sidewalk and our driveway is small so it’s just the little bit of driveway and the walkway/steps. He already went out once and it took less than 20 mins.

Re: How do you clear snow from your driveway?
We do the old fashioned shovel.
We do have a snowblower but we don't use it b/c its a PITA since our driveway is on an incline. It's More trouble than its worth to get it out of the shed which is like a mile away so it stays there.
For Saturday's storm, DH and I went out twice to shovel. It is not so bad if there are two people helping.

Uggh. I would have probably paid someone if I had to do it myself.
