Wedding gift question
If you were attending a wedding that wasn't at a catering hall but at a VFW/Elks Lodge type of place would give what you normally give as a gift, or give less being that you know the couple isn't spending as much as they would had they got married at a catering hall type of place? To add, this is also a second wedding.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but.. I would give less under the circumstances.

The amount of my gift would be based on how close I am to the couple, and the fact that it's a second wedding...especially if you also attended either of their first weddings.
So yes I'd give less.

Wedding gift question
If the first marriage was a while ago, I’d give my normal gift.
For the only second wedding we’ve been to, we gave less, but the weddings were very close together time wise. Married fall 2015 - divorced winter 2016 - and married again in summer 2017.

Wedding gift question
we went to a wedding at a KoC hall, 2nd wedding for the bride but first for the groom who was our friend. We gave a normal gift because of that... I'm sure the bride's side gave less if I were to assume

Wedding gift question
I would probably give a little less. Now that I'm older, I've started being invited to the weddings of my cousins' and friends' children. Since they're just starting out and my husband and I are doing well, I feel like we give a "nice" gift. So, my "less" gift is probably still good! LOL!
