Anyone Get BD Illness?
My DH and I decided to have a lot of BD during my O. Well that led to a very bad UTI and a YI. So we didn't do the BD until the next O. I must have still had a UTI b/c it was very painful. Now another month has come and gone and I am not pregnant. Did this happen to anyone else? When I went to my OB/GYN he told me that this happens to a lot of newbies TTC.

hmmmm....I haven't had that problem.
I guess I don't BD as much as you 
The only time I ever got a YI and knew it was directly from BD was with someone who was uncircumcised/ I AM NOT SAYING IT CAN HAPPEN WITH EVERY UNCUT GUY......but that was just me....
If your doc says it's kinda normal, I would have to agree with them...

Maybe it's b/c we didn't have as much BD before we were TTC... My DH is very clean and circumsized... The YI may have happened b/c I was taking antibiotics for something else (which I stopped taking b/c TTC). But the UTI was very new for me and I'm so afraid of getting it again that I'm now afraid of the BD.

i got it form BDing too much, my gyn said its very common when TTC b/c it causes a lit of friction down there... infact we stopped BDing 2 days before I O'd b/c i had a YI and i still got pregnant!!!

My ob/GYn told me this is very common. Especailly the UTI.... After you are done with the medication for it, take cranberry pills, I take threm religiously now, and also you can get pure cranberry juice from Trader Joe's, it is pretty nasty tasting- I mix it with some sprite, I have not had one since, keep your fingers crossed I do not get any more ! My sister who used to get them all the time told me to do this. She calls it her "post cotail cocktail" ! LOL HTH
