So annoyed

Today marks my father's first anniversary since his passing. My aunt and uncle (mom's brother) who were very involved while he was sick dropped off the face of the earth after he passed away. Never gave an explanation why. They never came to any family gatherings, missed my niece and nephews b-day party and christening, my baby shower, never even RSVP'd. Have never even met my DD, never call, etc... My mother has been most hurt by their actions. Anyway last night I get an email from her emailed to me, my mother, SIL, and other family reminding us of his passing and how he was her favorite BIL and he is loved and missed blah blah. Like my family and I need a reminder from her. If she really gave a crap how about picking up a freaking phone! Ok vent over, thanks.

I went thru that too. There is no excuse for it. I always get a "reminder" from people when that time of year comes up. It gets me more upset. Feel free to FM mail me if u need to talk.
