Re: spinning apparel question
I didn't know that there were specific shoes for spinning but those look like the Pumas that I wear.

Re: spinning apparel question
You mean for indoor cycling? I don't think need to get special shoes. If you want to buy new sneakers why not get a good pair of impact absorbing cardio shoes for days that you might do something other than cycling?
I wear any sneaker when I take a spinning class.

Re: spinning apparel question
You don't need special spinning sneakers if the pedals have cages. You can get riding sneakers if you want - they clip onto the pedals and you don't have to use the cages (but then you have to bring a spare set of regular sneakers with you to wear after the class if you're going to be staying at the gym to do other stuff).

Re: spinning apparel question
my feet killed from the class. the instructor said it was because my sneakers dont have a hard bottom, which is recommended for spinning.
Maybe I will try my pumas, I think they have a harder bottom.
I may like to clip on cause I hated the cage too. I have big feet and it made my toes numb at times
I feel like such a complainer but I really like the class and want to find a way to do it without killing my feet.

I have the same problem with my feet going numb. I'm going to try spinning shoes with clips. I recommend padded shorts too. I got mine of ebay.

yeah cause parts of me down there are SORE, not like muscle sore but like bruised sore. I have a lot of padding there already on my own. What do these shorts look like?

Cycling Shorts
I just put in my size on Ebay (L, XL, 1X, 2X, etc). I was able to get them brand new cheaper than going to a store.
