So TICKED!!!!

My leave replacement for Maternity just got a Thank you but no thank letter from Connetquot! His demo lesson KICKED BUTT!! Even the teacher who was in the room along with the administrators watching him was so impressed and said it was the best lesson she had seen so far.

I feel horrible for him. He's a great guy and a GREAT teacher. He has been in my roomwith me before I went out on Maternity and started teach while I got some things ready for him. On MANY occasions while he was teaching I said to myself, "Wow, that was a great question to ask the kids, I never thought of that!"

I honestly thought at one point that I'd better step up my teaching because this guy is si good!


I forgot what a crappy experience job hunting was on Long Island. It took me 4 years of teaching in the city to get me my job out here.

That's absolutely ridiculous. In all honesty, I'd probably ask the administration about it (if you've been in the building for a few years, and have a good relationship with your administrators). That seems VERY unfair to me.
