What to wear to a retirement party

Hi,

My mom's retirement party is in two weeks and I have nothing to wear.. I hate dresses - dont like my legs etc etc so looking for a pants and shirt type of outfit that would work for an evening event in a hotel.

Any ideas of where to look? and online stores would be better.

You can get a nice pair or pants and a cute top..
