Re: April Mommies to be

I'm due May 9th, but will have the baby the end of April, C-section. So I guess I'm a April mom--lol

I still have a small gag thing going on, but I don't get sick, my M/S is gone for now to (thankGod), I'm just soooo tired all the time. Other then that I feel fine. Chat Icon

I'm a little over 12weeks. I'm feeling better more often which I'm happy about. I'm tired all the time but still have trouble sleeping...Chat Icon Otherwise, everything is going great. Not showing but I have a pretty impressive "beer" belly.

We didn't find out the sex the first time and won't be finding out this time either.

Now we have to figure out if we need another crib. Molly will be 19-20 months at that point and probably still in her crib but I don't really know.

Hi ladies! I will be 11 weeks on Friday and due April 25th. I have had no MS but the fatigue is a killer.

So far I am doing the belly-band thing with my pants and wearing longer shorts. To me the change in my body seems so drastic but I am told by others that I look "chubby".....love that!

Anyway, congrats to you all and thank you for starting the April thread....was so excited to see it.Chat Icon

Hi everyone! I am another April 10th gal but will have a scheduled section so I will go earlier.
I still have morning sickness at night and I have to eat every few hours. I have had this nasty taste in my mouth that seems to be a little better. I went for my US and everything was OKChat Icon Overall I am feeling well and can't wait to find out the gender!

Re: April Mommies to be

Another April Mommie here - due April 14th. I have another sono today (my doctor seems to be sono happy) but no MS, no real complaints except being tired in the beginning but that has passed. I'm starting to outgrow my pants and I highly recommend Old Navy's low rise maternity pants/jeans. They are so comfy!

It's agreed that we're going to find out the gender and our families can't wait until that day.

As for as work, I got outted last week when someone said that it looked like I was gaining my weight back. (I lost 80 pounds and have kept it off for a year.) I was so upset that someone would comment on my weight gain (I've only gained 7 pounds) but people obviously don't know when to mind their own business.

I hope everyone has a healthy & happy pregnancy.

I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow (Friday). Due April 18.

Physically: Still nauseaus, but haven't thrown up in a week (knock on wood!). Still averted to MOST foods, boobs less sore, less tired. NONE of my pants fit, so I bought a few pairs of maternity pants, and I also wear some pants unbuttoned with a baggy sweater. Haven't felt any flutters yet but I am sooooo excited too. I can't wait!

Emotionally: So excited to be nearing the end of the first trimester!!!!!!!!

Re: April Mommies to be

My DH and I can't wait to find out the gender. We want to know right now so we can start planning everything!

Hey, I planned my wedding 2 1/2 years in advance, so the fact that I'm only going to have a few months of planning for the baby is already making me nervous (but very happy).

I lost 15 lbs on WW and I think some of the ladies in my office have noticed I have put on some weight, but no one has said anything to me yet. I will probably tell work next week...

Any other April moms-to-be delivering at Winthrop? I have Dr. Hanauer/Dr. Delosi, anyone else?

Take care!
Karen

I'm going to deliver at Winthrop also. Chat Icon

If we get to be there together and Cliff & Dave abandon us to go smoke cigars, I will destroy them. (Why don't they make one of those little emoticons with long hair and holding a scalpel so I can drop it right here?)

Re: April Mommies to be

Hi Girls!

I'm 14 1/2 weeks, due April 1st, I see from the expecting board that there are a couple other girls due April Fools Day as well!

Right now I'm slowly starting to feel better. My MS was really bad, they had me on Zofran since August. Now I'm having some good days with the occasionally really bad day thrown in. But I only had to take the Zofran twice this week so that is a big improvement.

I started wearing maternity pants b/c my SIL game me all her maternity stuff and my regular ones just got too tight.

No movement for me yet, I can't wait to start feeling that. Hopefully soon. And we are not going to find out. I love surprises and want to wait till I deliver to know if its a girl or boy.

Thanks for starting this post. Its great to see how everyone is doing!

Re: April Mommies to be

Hi I am 13 weeks today. I am due April 12th. I am going for an amnio on the 29th because one of the results of the ultrascreen came back with a risk. In my mind though everything is okay. I dream about my little one everynight. It is like my munchkin is telling me Mommy I am okay, don't worry about it. I am beginning to feel uncomfortable in my pants and I need to go shopping for maternity pants. I need comfort. My new thing is getting sick from the toothbrush hitting my gums. Hope all is well to the April mommies.

Re: April Mommies to be

We haven't bought anything, but I can't wait too! Both moms can't wait to buy stuff either!

My mom and I have made a trip or two to BRU to look around!

I had my NT test on Saturday. We should get the results on Thursday. We got some great pics of our little peanut who seemed to enjoy his/her sleep and had to be poked a few times to wake up and move around!

I am definately showing...I have a wedding to attend tonight and had the hardest time finding something that looked half decent-Im too small for most maternity clothes but my regular clothes are way too small-really a tough spot! I also think I have began to feel flutters-hard to tell if it is my baby moving or gas Chat Icon but I feel it almost daily at usually only in the evening. Going for my AFP next week!

Re: April Mommies to be

Yep, I'm starting to show a little, but I keep losing weight when I go for my visits. Very weird. No flutters yet though, I am really impatient.
