I did not vote cause I could not pick form those choices. See I Work FT and I really love my job but I wish I could work PT. To me that would be the best of both worlds.

I'm a SAHM and I love it! I know I'll go back to work probably P/T once the kids are older and in school. But now I know I'll never get this time back so I'm enjoying every minute of it!

I work FT and work in the city 2 days a week and home 3. I wish I was worked PT, 3 days a week total. I'm tired and always feel super rushed.

I work full time. Some days its challenging but other days I enjoy it! Either way I miss my daughter immensely.

wow results are very interesting! A lot more moms than I expected love working and dont wish to change that! Which is great!
Im due in a few months and am planning on taking a year maternity leave. I so so so excited to be staying home with the baby, I cant picture doing my job and being a mom. I also worry that I will never want to leave the baby and I'll want to stay home forever... guess its different for everyone.

I work part time and I love it. I feel like I get the best of both worlds. I only work a few hours a day, 4 days a week and I make good money.
I agree with workin p/t. I work 2 nights mostly on weekends so I spend all week w/DD and then I have adult time at work.

i would love to be a SAHM but financially we cant do it...Thoughsince i do have to go back full time we'll hopefully have some extra money to do more things with our ds that he will enjoy!

I work part time from home. I really can not complain. It's not the most exciting work but it allows me to stay home for my kids. I used to teach elementary school. I do miss being around adults and some days it's hard to keep focused on my work since there are too many distractions at home.

I work fulltime but I work from home on Fridays. I love it, the hardest part is bring the boys in the morning and picking them up! It is a lot of work.

I was exclusively a SAHM for 6 months and went back to work 2 days a week and am glad I did. I get to spend 5 out of 7 days a week with DS, but I also get out "into the world" and be around adults for a couple of days. Sometimes you can get a little crazy being home all the time.

I work part time outside of the home and I love it. I really love getting and being with my colleagues. I wish I worked 3 days a week, but my job can't be done in 3 days. I will most probably be a SAHM when we have our second, but mostly for financial reasons. I was home with my son for 13 months and really enjoyed it.
Also, if I was a SAHM I wouldn't have the time to post on LIF.
I am one of those women who say that I am probably a better mother because I work outside of the home.

I work FT outside my home 4 days a week (but with longer hours to make up for Fridays). For the 4 days it stinks, but I do get three whole days with my boys on the weekends.
Being a SAHM is not for me and I am fully aware of that. I need to get out of the house and come to a job and interact with people here...it's just how I am wired.
I do miss my boys like crazy though when I leave, but for my sanity it's what i need to do.
It also helps that I love my job, my boss, my co-workers and my place of employment and that they are always flexible with me. If I had a job that was strict with working hours, etc. I think I would go out and find something else.

I work FT and am happy with the arrangement we have. DD is at an awesome DC program right near the office so DH and I can visit her during the day. I feel fortunate that we can afford to send her to such a great program and really feel that we are setting her up well for the future.

I work outside the home 3 full days a week and occasionally from home and it's the perfect situation right now. Best of both worlds.
