Miscarriage?
Is it possible to have a miscarriage even before you knew you were pregnant? just curious.

yes I read in my book last night that you could get AF and think it was normal but you could have had a miscarriage and didn't even know.. that is why someone people think it isn't so great to test so early and you should wait until your AF is late.
I am sure the other girls on these boards have more information about it but this is what I know.

Yes, and is known as a bio-chemical pregnancy or chem pregnancy or just chemical.

That is exactly what i'm thinking, I wouldn't know the difference. I have PCOS and do not get AF regularly therefore I do not bother testing but there were a couple of times where AF was extremely heavy and now that I think back maybe it was a miscarriage. Also let's just say it was a miscarriage don't I need to take something to clean everything out...sorry for tmi.

If you miscarry naturally you don't need a d&c unless, you have lingering tissue. Chemical pregnancies don't require D&C's because there isn't much to expel.
Charting is very important, so you can keep track of ovulation. Having a heavy AF is not a sign of a chemical pregnancy. If you released tissue...that's a different story.
If you are charting or being monitored by a RE, and you are pretty certain of your ovulation and your LP was more than 18 days, that's when you can suspect a chemical pg if you didn't use a hpt.

That's just it, I remember not too long ago (end of July) i had AF veryyyy heavy and lots of tissue came out but that happens every now and then it is not uncommon with me, i never read into it. I guess I should bring it up to my doctor.
Also most probably I have pcos I skip months at a time, in fact the last time AF was here for me was Oct 6, more than a month ago.
Can I chart even if AF is not regular?
