Luggage
I'm going to be traveling extensively around Europe this summer. We're taking the train to 5 different cities once we are there. Can anyone share what type of luggage you used? I don't know if I should "backpack" or use one big suitcase.
Any tips?

Re: Luggage
If you can, backpacking is so much easier. But it does cause a lot of pain on your back. If not then get yourself a wheely suitcase, but not too big. I found a lot of places do not have elevators, including some train stations and going up and down with a suitcase is a real pain. Also getting around and using the trains is so much easier with a small suitcase or a backpack. Or you could just have your husband drag everything....lol.

Wheely soft sided suitcase. I always use those because you can STUFF them with stuff and they grow with your stuff!

Re: Luggage
I suggest smaller pieces if you are training it. The train aisles are very narrow in Europe and the overhead racks are not conducive to bulky pieces.
