Here is another perhaps sad question
ok, so if I have a fitted sheet and a flat sheet on my bed...is there soemthing else that goes on between that and the coverlet?
I am not sure what the "layers" are?
do I NEED a bedskirt?
and, do you sleep on the pillows with shams instead of cases?
yes, I have been sleeping on the floor of a cave for most of my life

Nothing else...unless you want another coverlet for the layered effect.

No...but it finishes off the look of the bed.

The shammed pillows are decorative...you sleep on the pillowcased pillows.
