I know you can't help but stress out about this, but there are definitely ALOT of false positives. My BF had her trisomy 18 results come back as 1:5 chance and it was completely WRONG. The baby is perfectly healthy. So don't lose hope until they do further testing and try to stay positive.
Did they do any further testing? What testing did they do?
She didn't want the amnio so she had an agonizing wait until the level 2 when they confirmed everything was fine.
I'm glad they could tell at the level 2. Although that is 3 weeks away for me.
When will you find out about what further testing they can do?
I already called at 8:30 this morning for an appointment at StonyBrook. They have to call me back.
The office sent over my paperwork last night, and now I have to wait for the doctor to look at the files to figure out what priority this is. Hopefully they will pull up my records from the last visit there and call me in asap. I am ready to leave work right now if I have to.
Well I hope they do that too.. You are in my prayers but just like everyone else said. It very well could be fine.
