FEVER HELP!
I'm 5 weeks pregnant, and I have a fever. I got it last night and I still have it this morning, although its not as bad as last night.
What can I do? I called my doctor, but he can't see me till later today, and I'm reading online how I can really hurt the baby by having a high fever so early on in the pregnany. 
Does anybody know what I can do??

How high is your fever? Could the nurse not give you any advice when you called for your appointment? I'd call back and ask if you could take Tylenol. I know it's usually okay but you're so early on I'd want to check.

You can take 2 regular strength or one extra strength tylenol to bring down the fever until you can see your Dr.

Agree with the OP. Tylenol is safe to take, and it works for me when I have a fever.

I'm not sure how high my fever is, because I'm at work. The nurse didn't seem like she knew ANYTHING .. It says online I can take Tylenol though, so I'll call back and see. thanks!!

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!! I only have extra strength so I was nervous to take that.

Can you go home to rest? I would also put a cool towel on your head/neck to bring the fever down. drink lots of fluids and get some sleep.
