Severly Pulled Out Back....
I pulled my back out SEVERELY on Saturday afternoon... my legs gave out and I was on the floor stuck there for 6 hours.... yesterday felt a little bit better... I was able to get up a bit... today it still really hurts, I can hardly walk... I guess tomorrow will be spent getting x-rays/mri and who knows whatever else. I guess I'll call my primary care dr. first...anyone have any suggestions? Chiropractor? Orthopedist?

Primary Dr. 1st.
He/She will probably will refer you to an orthopodist and/or physical therapy.

I would go to your primary dr first. When I was having back pain, I went right to the chiropractor and it just ended up worse. I was in so much pain i wasnt able to get off of the table. Thank God my dad was with me cause he helped my off.
In anycase, depending on where you are and if you have to go to an orthopedist, let me know. I highly recommend the DR I went to. They are in West Islip.

Agreed.
MD first. Your chiro will be a lot more effective if you go to him with a diagnosis from an MD.
I've broken my back twice -- had NO idea the injury was nearly that bad when I first did it... I have had various other back issues, too. I'd recommend your PCP and an ortho first -- then find a chiro if you think it will help.
