Saf-t-swim vs. World Gym (First Strokes)- Opinions
I would like to get swim lessons for my son (22 months) so I called Saf-t-swim and World Gym which has First Strokes Swim School. Both work exactly the same way, same amount and length of lessons, same price, one on one instruction, etc.. and are equidistant from my house. Has anyone used either one? Can you give your opinions?
TIA!!

I don't know anything about World Gym, but I have to say that the way Saf-T-Swim teaches is AMAZING! I taught swimming for 15 years and ended my career teaching at Saf-T-Swim for almost one year. I was completely amazed at how they do it. I really wish I knew their tactics of safety first when I first started teaching. I now use that teaching stategy for DS, who is 9 months old.

Re: Saf-t-swim vs. World Gym (First Strokes)- Opinions
DS has been going to Safe-t-Swim for a few weeks. I think they are doing great with him -- and that says a lot since he cries at least 1/2 the class! he likes the water, and he likes his instructor but he doesn't like me leaving.
His instructor is great with him, she tries to comfort him and soothe him while teaching him. She already started to teach him to get to the side of the pool - and that is what is so important to me. We have a pool and I want him to know how to get to the edge if he needed to.
