Did anyone lose more weight after they stopped bfing?

I am still BFing...I am hoping this is true.
The weight just isn't coming off me at all!! I try not to use it as a crutch...but things just aren't adding up.

I don't feel like my weight is coming off either with BFing.
If anything it makes working out more difficult. I need to plan more, make sure I pump/feed prior, & I need to double my bras when running. I also don't like to get sweaty when I am alone & can't shower right away because I don't want to feed her when I am yucky.

I feel the same way!
On our morning walks...I come home sweaty, sunscreened...gross. Then he wants to nurse.
It has made my appetite insane. Its fine when I am home...I don't have any junk here...but when it hit when I am out, that's bad.
I also mistake thirst for hunger. I drink all day long but it never seems to be enough.

Yes, I mistake the 2 also!!! I don't keep anything bad in the house, cause I will snack when I am home.
So, today DH & I went walking for 1 hour. I BF her after and she did not die  So then after we went walking at different parks for hours. When we got home she gave us just enough time to shower (BLESS HER HEART)
I need to find places I can walk, safely, when I am alone.

this is my challange. I found a sunday morning walking partner to do trails with me.
On saturday mornings, I go on the trails behind my apt...people are always out.
Where I live is completely walk friendly, I swear I live in the healthiest town, people are constantly out walking, running, biking...that is something I will definitely miss when we move.

yeah we live in apartments right now, and only have about 20 minutes worth of a walk route. So I need to drive to good paths....and they are so nice, but during the week no one is there, so I don't like to be there alone with her.

In the beginning I lost all my pregnancy weight while bfing. I actually am a couple of lbs less then when I got pregnant but for the last 3 months the scale doesn't budge. I have heard that the body holds on to extra fat while bfing in order to have a store for the baby. I am now doing 2 bm bottles and to formula bottles.
We shall see what happens when I wean. Only time will tell.

both times I lost the pregnancy weight while BFing...although both times I gained 5-10 pounds after, since I was used to eating so much.

not only did i not lose weight while nursing - i actually gained weight! i think i may be the only person who gained weight AFTER pregnancy  
i didn't start to lose weight until i got AF back, which happened 2-3 weeks after i stopped nursing. i've now lost about 3-4 pounds in the past 2 months without trying. hoping that more come off with some effort on my part...
