Re: vertigo

I'm so sorry. Is there anyway you could get to a emergency clinic if your doctor's not around? Did you feel this way while you were in Aruba?

Re: vertigo

I can't think of any home remedies. I think you need to see someone ASAP. This happened to me a few weeks ago and it scared the living **** outta me. I woke up in the middle of the night to find that the room was spinning around me. I got sick to my stomach 3 times before I was able to drag myself to the ER (it was Sunday, of course).

If it's due to fluid in your ear, taking Claritin might help. They told me to take Claritin and gave me a prescription for Antivert. That did the trick.

I'm so sorry, I know firsthand how awful it is. Hope you can get some relief. Chat Icon

Re: vertigo

I wish I could help. I get it often and just had a 2 week spell of it. I honestly thought if I had to live with that everyday I would kill myself.

I didnt find any relief .

I did try to clean my ears out, make sure no wax was impacting the ear and try a heating pad on your ear, it will loosen the wax and if you ear "pops" sometimes you will feel a bit better. Chat Icon

Re: vertigo

I work for an ENT physician and it sounds to me like you had an inner ear issue prior to flying an the altitude n pressure exasperated it. you need to see someone asap but it's not kife threatening so don't freak out entirely
