toddler beds
just wondering....my son is 22 months and cries to come in our bed at 12:00 everynight. I know I shouldn't get him, but I hate to hear him cry. Should I turn his crib into a toddler bed so he can just come in our bed when he wants rather than me getting him out of his crib? or should I put my foot down and let him cry til he falls asleep in his crib?

Re: toddler beds
That's up to you and what works for your family
I could never and refuse to let my kids CIO. I let them whine/fuss, but never cry for more than 5 mins and even that seems like a lifetime, then we go to them.
My DD was crying and screaming in her crib around the same age, we turned her bed into a toddler bed about 2 months ago when she was 26 months, it didn't stop the crying, now at 2.5 she wakes up crying for me at least 1-2 times a night and i still have to go to her. I'm hoping this is just a phase I know she's been seeing monsters and her imagination is HUGE now.
Good luck

Re: toddler beds
I would not do the toddler bed just yet. My DS is the same age and would climb out of his crib every night. I put a crib tent on and now he loves his crib. Also, if it is every night and you know he is ok, I don't see the harm in letting him cry a little.
