Cold Hands

My DS is six months. For the last two days he has cold hands. Every part of his body including his head is warm. Is this normal? For the last two days he also has rosy cheeks. He never had rosy cheeks before so I do not know if that is normal also. Is there anything I can do for the cold hands?

Re: Cold Hands

DD has it too - its weather related I think. She's also teething and putting her cold wet hands in her mouth. I feel so bad. I'm thinking of having her wear mittens in the house, but then she'll just have wet mittens Chat Icon

Extremities get colder faster....I used to feel sooo bad for my son...then I put those little baby mittens on him, and he woke up with cold, soaken wet hands!! Theres really not much that you can do about it.

Re: Cold Hands

thanks guys for the responses. At least it is not just my little guy. I thought about mittens but he sucks on his hands constantly so it would be useless. I feel so bad but it doesn't seem to bother him. My new excuse for everything is that he is teething so I might as well put the blame on that.

Re: Cold Hands

yep my DD gets this too. Does not seem to bother her. My DH laughs cause my toes, hands and nose are always cold too, he thinks she gets it from me.Chat Icon
