It went ok...thanks all. I put it off for a while, thought I wouldnt make it and of course it started to rain when I was there.
I got annoyed too. There was an elderly couple there...Now its a small section for babies of a LARGE Catholic Cemetary, and they are sitting on a bench thats about 2 feet from my daughters grave. Im trying to have "a moment" and they are talking and talking. I thought it was really rude, there are a TON of other benchs. I felt uncomfortable with them inchs away just gabbing about., and kinda watching what Im doing.
SO..then another set of people come , apparently family and they walk to the grave of the child they are there to see and start yelling up and down about how things were re-arranged when they mowed the lawn, ( you are allowed to have and put a LOT of stuff by the babies, they are very leniant) They are YELLING...the wood flower was in the middle not on the right...WHY was the teddy bear TOUCHED...on and on and on....
..Not two seconds later the apparent Mother and Father comes along ..I know this because I can hear every word of how worried and upset she will be that things were re-arranged...( of course shes VERY PG, ready to pop and makes me feel even worse about myself today)
Now there are 6 people talking and yelling LOUDLY near me...WHAT AM I a mirage? Would it be so hard to give ME sitting there a little respect. I couldnt even finish a prayer because they were so loud I couldnt think. And they were no longer that close to me.
I started crying from frustration and I was very close to saying something..but what do you say? : Im trying to mourn here and your being obniouxsly loud"? 
I stayed as long as I could and left...I will plant flowers another time, I didnt think I could stay much longer.

I'm sooooo sorry that you have idiots as 'neighbors'... but I would have definitely had said something. They were completely being rude, and disturbing YOUR peace. Cemetaries are for prayers & silence... they're not concerts or complaint bureaus! Arghhh! I'm sooooo sorry they ruined your moment for you.

Aw Donna that is just AWFUL ! People are just clueless and insensitive, I mean its a cemetery for goodness sake, obviously you were there to pray and have a moment with your daughter!

I felt bad too, I mean obviously they were there for a reason too, but you would just think then they would understand quiet moments ya know?
I usually like to talk aloud when Im there, makes me feel better, but I couldnt. I dont blame them for being there, was jsut so annoyed at their lack of respect for someone ten feet away.

Donna,
I am so sorry that some people are selfish and could not let go of their anger when they saw you there. Annoyance by others should not have been something you had to deal with yesterday when all you wanted and needed was a little peace of heart (which they damn well should have understood without you having to actually ssshhhh them).
My heart is not only with you, with Noelle as well.

i agree...if i see anyone else at the cemetery when we go to my mil's grave, i alwasy give them space and if i have to wlak by them, give them what my dh calls my comforting smile to let them now i understand, sometimes if i feel too close to them, i even aplogize or ask permission to pass them.
