we were married July 2007 and started TTC this January & we're 8 weeks PG

probably wait about 3-4 years. We are only 23 going to be 24 this year. I could start now but i want to finish my masters and then get a career job. DH wants to wait until we are 30   Yeah right.
I think trying around 26-27 if we are secure financially and Dh is ready emotinoally would be perfect. So we would be married about 4 yrs then
I dont know how I am going to wait.

We didn't wait, but didn't "try" or plan either. We just took a whatever happens, happens approach.
<----We were very lucky and just had this liitle guy, born one month before our first anniversary.
We took the same approach. We will welcome our little boy in July, 1 1/2 months before our 1st anniversary.

I think I will be ready in 1-2 years. So that will be 2-3 years after our wedding.

2 years - But AT LEAST a year would be good enough, I guess. I just keep hoping that we don't slip up (esp since I'm off of BC right now) 
This is not only because we're still so young (I'm 24 and dh is 28), but I've also always felt like it's important for newlyweds to have their time alone together before adding children to the mix. I worry that it could be dangerous to start a family too early, esp for me & DH who have never lived together before the wedding. We need to grow strong enough as a couple before making a family. I know that if i got pregnant NOW, we'd be ok. But it wouldn't be ideal and I think I'd always regret not having the time we SHOULD have had together.

We plan on waiting at at least another year...I'll be 36 this year and he will be 32 in May. Edit: We have been married for 6 months
