I also didn't realize how much I took advantage of having a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. I would kill to have those things now!!
I completely agree. I can't wait for the day that I have both of those again.

the ability not to worry so much !! and just do it!
See for me this is the exact opposite, as a child I was always worried and couldn't control my life (money etc.)
That being said I wish I still had my grandparents around! I also had a window seat in my bedroom that opened up for storage. I loved that!

DH and I rent a 2 bedroom apartment for the time-being and I wish we had our own house and backyard and driveway and all that great stuff.
I also didn't realize how much I took advantage of having a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. I would kill to have those things now!!

I wish we could have my childhood house. I LOVED that house! I loved the layout, the pool, the block parties, my friends...ALL of it! I WANT that house!

ETA my answer:
My Strawberry Shortcake house & all the dolls (it was so cool) and my weekend outings with my grandpa when I was in elementary school. He would show up at our house early on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings and take me places around Long Island.

My Mom and My Gram (its only been a few months and hard on the holidays. We as a family, do the best we can).
I also miss the closeness of the neighbors. Growing up we ALL knew each other, had block parties, and would be out until it got dark.
The street I live on now, I say "hi" to about 2 families and Im just not used to that.

My grandparents and a few other relatives.
Also the ability to run around and play outside all day, doing whatever I wanted most of the time.
