HELP with food - 10.5 month old
Landon is done with baby food, or anything I feed to him on a spoon (including yogurt and oatmeal). He refuses ALL food from a spoon and will now only eat what he can feed to himself.
I need some ideas of foods that Landon can feed to himslef, that are good on-the-go (since we are back and forth to my moms and never home). When we are home its no big deal but when we are out I can't think of anything to bring with me beisdes the usual cheerios and bananas.
Also how much food is enough? Today he ate 1/4 of a griled cheese sandwich for lunch and some puffs - if this was pureed it is so much of a smaller amount than what he used to eat for lunch last week (yogurt + stage 2 or 3 fruit).

Besides what you already are giving him, i give DD: wagons wheels (like puffs but bigger) string cheese cut into pieces (loves this and takes a minute to cut up before we leave) cold cuts- ham, turkey, chicken breast (i shread it myself and put it in tupperware with the cut up string cheese) elbow macaroni (cut in half and flavored with alittle butter or chicken broth) plain peas cut up pancake
hope this gives you some more ideas:)
ETA: I feed DD until she seems full. She eats a lot! sometimes she will finish the whole grilled cheese (minus the crust)

Re: HELP with food - 10.5 month old
No advice here, but if it makes you feel better, I have the opposite problem - an almost 17 month old that won't eat table foods, except for a few things.
My DS LOVES Kix cereal, though, so I usually pack a bag of those. what about string cheese, or the little individually wrapped rectangles of cheese?

Re: HELP with food - 10.5 month old
Great question! We are having the same problem. My DS is 10 months.
In the morning, I have been giving him a waffle (the Kashi ones). I also cut up fruit (cantaloupe, pears, applies). This weekend I am going to try and make pancakes with cereal. I think there was a recipe on the box. Yesterday for the first time I gave him a grilled cheese. I have been giving him pieces of cheese (american, chedder or mozzarella) and then trying to give him yougert in between. For veggies, I have been cutting up sweet potatoes, califlower, aspargus and peas. For dinner I try to give him some type of protein that is not hard for him to mash - so usually either turkey or chicken. It is much harder to travel with (he is with my family 2 days a week), but he won't take anything pureed.
As for how much, I am not sure. I feel like he is not eating enough compared to the last few months. But, I can seem to get him to eat anymore.
Added on top of all this he does not want his bottle!!!

Lily is 22 months and her favorites to feed herself are....american cheese, french fries, maraconi and cheese, bologna, turkey, pepperoni, veggie dogs, puffs, waffles, Gerber fruit snacks/strips and ice cream. That's pretty much all she eats, actually. As long as he's not searching for more food, he's getting enough!

Does he like pasta yet? How about baby meatballs mushed? That is something you could make at home and just take and heat up at your Moms.
DD loved the broccoli & cheddar cheese nuggets listed on this page She was able to feed herself and they kept her very happy. Also something you can make a nice batch of and freeze.

Logan loves blueberries & raisins! And the blueberries just take a quick rinse!! We are working on strawberries too. What about cut up pieces of grilled chicken or porkchops?
