Does anyone else have this issue?
I'm not really overweight. Maybe 5 lbs. But I do carry all my fat in my belly, so I don't have a flat stomach. Especially after I eat.
Whenever I try something on, whether it is in the store or clothes I already have, I always ask myself, "Does this make me look pregnant"? One time I wore an empire waist shirt to the dentist and the receptionist asked me this. I think it scarred me for life because now all I do is ask myself if I look pregnant in my clothes.
I want to be pregnant someday, but NOT now. And it would be horrible to have people asking me all the time when I'm not. Anyone else deal with this?

Re: Does anyone else have this issue?
Not exactly the same issue, but I have a huge aversion to anything that is loose fitting. I feel like it makes me look preggo even when everyone says I"m nuts.
I ordered a dress from AT Loft -and it came yesterday. They didn't have my size so I got a size up. Well I feel like it's too loose around the mid section and I want to go have it taken in because I feel like anything loose like that looks like I'm hiding something.
Those shirts- forget it. I have to wear everything form fitting as if to say- see I'm not hiding a preggo belly. I swear!

I ALWAYS worry the same thing. Ever since I got married, I feel that people at work and my family are going to be overanalyzing.
I make a point to make my DH drive to every family event so I can have at least one drink so they know NO I AM NOT PREGNANT. Every time I don't have any alcohol, they all ask. That is like their litmus test -- and how they found out both my SILs were pregnant. They mean well, but

Re: Does anyone else have this issue?
Lately at work when I complain of being nauseous (sometimes get it from stress- I'm a teacher!!) people have been asking if I'm pregnant!
I can't help but wonder if it's because I'm a newlywed or maybe I'm putting on a few .. Seriously I wish people would say nothing at all unless you looked all .. kate gosselin, with a HUGE obviously pregnant belly!

Re: Does anyone else have this issue?
I have quite a few empire waist shirts or blouses that bellow out. I KNOW I'm NOT, but I do get concerned that other presume I'm keeping something to myself. So I have to make sure I switch it up and wear form fitting things too from time to time.
