Question about the Big Apple BBQ - Not food related
Any one been before?
I was thinking of going on Saturday & bringing 17 month old DD. She'll be in a stroller. Is the event too crazy/packed to bring a toddler? DH & I would love to go & take her but I just want to know what I'm in for.

Re: Question about the Big Apple BBQ - Not food related
I've been there before and it does get pretty crowded.
There are a lot of kids though, so it isn't impossible. I'd go as early as possible to grab a patch of grass and avoid the lines. There's a playground too- so maybe one person can take DD while another gets food?

It does get mobbed...and unfortunately the strollers are the main problem since they are everywhere!! If you go, I would go early, as soon as it starts.

we go as early as we can and sit on the grass. Dh usually goes to get the food while I sit with DD. My mom is coming with us this year and she came with last year too.
