1st Sonogram
Hi Ladies. I have my first sDr. Visit on July 29th. I will be about 8 weeks at that time. Do they normally do a sonogram on your first visit. And if so, can they usually tell if it's twins at that stage? TIA!

if your going to be about 8 weeks they most likely will do a sono and yes they would be able tot tell if your carring twins by then!

Yes, and yes! Although, check to see if you need a separate appointment for the sonogram. When I was 8 weeks I had an appointmnet w/ the sonogram tech and another appointment with a NP.

Thanks We found out a few months ago that twins runs in my family and if it skips a generation, us or my brother would be it.
