IUI [repost from TTC]
Hello ladies! This is my first post on here. I am looking into the IUI procedure and I read about it having a high risk of multiples. For any of you girls that have had the procedure or know someone who has.. can you tell me what the outcome was? Thanks so much

It's not the IUI procedure that can increase the chance of multiples but how many follicles you have. So if you do an unmedicated IUI with one follies, you're chance of multiples is the same as any other month. Are you taking anything to increase the # of follies?

I had twins, but I took clomid which resulted in 3 follies, it had nothing to do with the IUI.

I produced 2 follicles on my first month of very low dose injectibles and my IUI resulted in 
The month before that I produced 3 follicles on Clomid and that resulted in a chemical.
