Question about being induced.....
What did or what are you planning to eat throughout the day before checking into the hospital?
So far today I had:
Breakfast: Cereal w/ a banana
Lunch: 1/2 of a Turkey BLT and a yogurt
I plan to have some chicken broth and crackers before I leave tonight.
Did I eat too much already or have I not eaten enough? Or am I just crazy with nerves and excitement and thinking too much!!!

I was induced in the morning, and I was told no food past 12am the night before.
When I got to the hospital, they asked me if I had eaten anything, and wanted to make sure I hadn't.
I didn't get to eat anything until the next morning.
But back to your question, if they said you can eat, I think you are fine, just make sure you don't eat anything too heavy.

I had to report to the hospital at 9pm, so I pigged out all day  I had GD too, but figured, I'd enjoy myself (within reason of course!).
We went to Outback for dinner that night prior to heading to the hospital.

My OB told me to eat a ton before I came in as I wouldn't be eating again for a very long time most likely, and she was right. We checked in at 7 pm and I made a big dinner before we left, sauce, meatballs, sausage and pasta. Thank god because DS wasn't born until 10 pm the following night.

I ate as much as I could! I went in for 4pm, started cervadil around 8pm and that didn't go well for me, so it came out 45 min. later. i start pit the next morning at 8am and didn't deliver until 10:30pm...so no food for over 32 hours...though I snuck some bites of snacks in when they weren't looking.

I was allowed to eat, but frankly I was too nervous to eat much. I wish I had been able to get more down beforehand - it was a long day!

When I was induced, I arrived at the hospital at 6pm. I had a normal day of food.
