How much milk are you getting during each session and how many times do you pump a day?
Thanks!!

4x per day (every 6 hours) and I get 4-5oz total per session. DS gets 2 8oz milk bottles and 2 8oz formula bottles per day.

When I was pumping, at my peak I was getting 12-16oz per session (6-8oz from each side) and that was about every 6 hours. It took about 3 months to get up to that.

Same as above, at my peak (probably around 3 months for a month or two). When he started eating solids, it went down.
He's almost 9 months & I pump 3x a day (when I get up, at work & then before bed). I get about 4-5 oz. per side.

Re: Moms who pump exclusively...please come in.
DD is 1 week old. I pump in the morning and get about 4 ounces of what I think is still colostrum. Then, I try again in the afternoon and only get about 1 ounce. Is it too early to expect more? Is it possible that my real milk just isn't here yet? I am relieved to hear that the peak is months away because right now it seems like I'm never going to get there.
