How freaking depressing

So I found a part time job within a month of looking, which I think isnt bad at all considering the state of the job market.

Its a great commute, hrs are awesome pay is decent for it being P/T but I HATE IT!. Its only been a week and today I realize I hate it. Originally when I was called about the job I was told that it was for 3-4 months temp with the potential to expand but no dates have been set.

Is it horrible that I've already started to look for something else? The office space is disgusting....papers all over the place and complete disarray. They had just started hiring admin staff a few months ago to get it all sorted, which is the reason for my position. I would be covering phones and doing some filing.

I feel like even if there did end up being potential for growth with the company, I wouldnt want to do it anyways ( bad attitudes from staff and filthy office). Is it wrong of me to be looking for something already? They even kid around in the office about me showing up each day, almost as if they expected me to quit.

FWIW, I like my job for the most part, yet I am always "looking". Becuz you never know when a better opportunity may come along. ;).

Thanks all for the great advice.... I've been sending out resumes this past week. I've gotten a few calls already.
