Baby Aspirin
Why do some doctors recommend it for pregnant women? What does it do?

My doctor has me taking a baby aspirin once a day. I think its to thin your blood and prevent clotting which would enable the baby from getting what it needs.

Yeah, I was looking some more into it. Apparently in some cases your body sees the embryo as a foreign thing and attacks it with clots. Baby Aspirin thins the blood so it won't be able to - thus preventing miscarriage. Very interesting! I think I'll start taking it. Can't hurt.
