Mothers Milk Tea Not working- What's next?
I've tried the tea for over a week and have seen no improvement in my supply at all. Trying to pump for the 3x/day that I am working and I don't think I am going to get all the bottles I am going to need for the week. What else besides water, oatmeal, and tea can I try?

Fenugreek worked well for me (while having oatmeal most mornings and drinking water).

Try More Milk Plus. Are you also pumping on the weekend?

I've had success with Fenugreek as well. I got it at GNC. Good luck!

Yes, I pump every day in the morning and the night. Sometimes during the day also when I'm home if I have time. Unfortunately the 3 days that I work, I am unable to pump during the day due to time and location restraints, so that is where part of my problem is coming from with my supply dipping. I will try More Milk Plus and Fenugreek and hope that it works. I have made it BF for 8 months and am trying so hard to just get to the year mark.

Fenugreek was also something that worked great for me. Only took about 3 days to really get my supply boosted.

Just curious... how often do you all drink the tea? I just got it and was curious as it doesn't say on the label.

Re: Mothers Milk Tea Not working- What's next?
went back to an old post where i gave my thoughts/opinions...I hope it helps:
jlk51496 wrote: "that sounds pretty normal for pumping after a feed...your DS is taking out what he needs..but if you do that after every feed you are doing two things storing all extra AND telling your body to make more which in turn will yield more in a couple of days/weeks!
Fenugreek (3 pills/3x a day) worked wonders for me...esp when AF returned...
breast compressions for me were A MUST!!! I did it the whole 20 min session..it sometimes doubled my supply...
are you waiting for a second let down..I always pumped until i got that 2nd letdown which happened around the 20-25 min mark...I usually got an extra oz if I waited for this!
Can your DS feed off of one breast in the morning (when you are at your fullest) and pump completely off the other...I "trained" my DD and DS and my body to do this every morning, switching which breast each morning) and this was all extra..
and finally I did the same as a PPer...I would pump rt before I went to bed around 11pm ish which was usually 2+ hrs after my DCs' last feed so that too was all extra and was able to get a decent amount!
It is a learning exp..but just dont expect too much because you'll just get yourself all upset!
good luck!"
