Im DONE-warning vent
I need to vent
I am done with this bs of TTC each and every month..I had 2 thats right 2 of my best friends tell me TODAY that they are expecting not their first but their SECOND baby
It is so hard for me to pretend like I am over the moon for them when I cant help but feel selfish and angry at the same time..I am so happy for them but at the same point jealous
I am going on month 8 of TTC, not getting any younger and everyone around me is getting knocked up!!
if I knew it was this hard I wouldnt have been such a prude my entire life!!

I hear ya! I'm on month 7 and going nuts. I waited a year after marriage to start trying and after 1 miscarriage and another 7 months of trying I kind of wish we started earlier! Who knew!?

I share your pain..... And the worst part is when people start asking you "What are you waiting for? Don't you think it's about time that you have a baby already? You're not geting any younger...." Don't you love that  If people would just start thinking before talking......

I completely hear you. I have been going through the same thing, and have several friends expecting their 2nd child in a few months. DH and I waited almost 5 years to start trying, b/c we were relatively young and wanted to enjoy being married without children first. If we knew it would take this long (a year now, with an early m/c last June), we would have started a lot sooner!

I know its hard and doesnt get any easier each time we hear those dreded (but wonderful) words. Vent all you like cause I know many of us have had the same vent at one time or another. I just had the same thing happen to me and I felt horrible that the tears I had in my eyes were more frustration and disappointment for me than tears of happiness for SIL and DC#2. Its human to feel that way. I hope it will be your month soon.

I feel your pain!! Sometimes I really just want to do this  and this  all day long!!!!! Having a m/c 2 months ago hasn't helped my morale at all either!!!

One day you are going to be pregnant and there is going to be some woman who looks at you with envy the same as you are looking at your friends.
Everyone just has a different turn and your turn has not come yet, but it will, and there will be women wishing they were in your shoes.
Think of it like a cycle and you just havent gotten to your part of the cycle yet

All i can say dont beat yourself up over feeling angry/jealous... those are valid feelings, anyone of us would probably feel the same way in your situation with TWO friends at the same time...

I know how you feel! Hang in there and don't give up hope. A lot of my friends are getting pregnant one by one also. It can get really annoying after a while even though I do feel happy for them. Your day will come eventually!

All of this is so hard, especially when it feels like everyone around you is get PG with little trouble. It's hard to react when you are trying to smile on the outside for your friends while you are crying on the inside for yourself.
It will happen. You have to believe. This waiting takes the phrase "what's worth having is worth waiting for" to a whole other level.

I hear you, Im in the same place and it SUX!!!
There are a group of 4 of us who are close friends from high school and 3 of them were all pregnant at the same time! One was 8 months pregnant when the 2nd anounced her pregnancy and 2 weeks after that, the 3rd friend anounced she was 3 months pregnant with her 2nd DC (her first dd had just turned a year) at dinner with all of us and our husbands. You shouldve seen my face-I tried to be all happy but i have a feeling i didnt quite pull it off. I felt like I had been punched. The picture taking of "the 3 pregnant ladies" didnt help. Believe me, I took full advantage of the fact that i was the only one who could drink!!

oh man have i been here....dh and i are finally at the point of trying, but have been left out for years with our group of friends. i try not to think about it. our time will come....sure i get upset and break down. the tough part is getting back up and thinking positive again.
