They are disney specialists and will keep checking for discounts to apply to your vacation.

Re: Disney World..Travel Agent vs. Expedia

Well I'm a bit biased because I *am* a Disney travel agent. I can tell you this much, most of us will work on your behalf in getting you the best value possible for your money. And the services that Disney travel agents (good ones anyway) offer don't stop when you've booked. You won't find that with Expedia or even booking directly with Disney.

Before I became a TA, I always booked my own travel to Disney. Once I used a Disney specialist, I was impressed at how much time and effort they put forth so that I had a fantastic vacation.

If you love the thought of doing all the legwork, research, etc. yourself, then don't use a travel agent. But if you want someone who will go that extra mile for you, I really don't think there is any question.

I would personally book directly with either WDW.Com or call them up on the phone!

book directly thru Disney - there is no advantage to either one - the TA will just get you the same discount that you can get thru AAA.

Right now there are several discounts out for the summer - check these two sites:

WDW official site

You can find all the current public (means it isn't a private email or postcard code - those are available to ONLY the person who it is addressed to - you get those from registering on the WDW site and doing things like ordering a free WDW travel DVD).
Mousesavers - I love this site b.c it tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about booking and deals so you can DIY.
