Playdates

Today I started a mommy and me type class. I was talking with this other mommy and our DD's are close in age. I wanted to ask her if maybe she wanted to meet up and take our DD's to the park or something for a play date but I am very shy in person. I also didn't want her to think I was odd, the first time meeting her asking to meet up at the park.

I'm a SAHM and looking for other mommies to have play dates with. Would you think that's odd or would you be happy to hang out with someone else while you took your DC to the park or for walks. My DD is 10 months and hers is 1 yr.

Thanks for your opinions! Chat Icon

I have the same problem. It took me 2 years to even post something on here. I wish I wasn't so shy. I usually wait for someone to ask me or hint around. I think you should ask. I just wish I took my own advice.
