It when you house is worth less then you owe
You ask the bank to take what it's worth
You first need to be denied a loan mod now
And yes it will effect your credit- not as bad as a repo or foreclosure- but there will be an effect- esp of you have a second mortgage

I dont think we can do it, my husband makes too much and we easily afford this house on one salary. IM guessing you have to Not be able to...LOL They dont just give away money!!! LOL
I appreciate all of your help Beth-we are gonna pay and have it listed on MLS-do you think we will get more inquiries that way?

And yes- most people look on mls for homes so I think it would be worth it to get some traffic!
