question for girls ttcing after miscarriage
Hi Ladies,
I feel like this has been a crazy journey. Since we got pregnant the first time we tried, we were blessed, and then lost it at around 6w2d. I am getting ready to start trying again after i finish my next cycle (waited 3 months). Any words of encouragement or positive stories? I am worried it could happen again

I had a miscarriage in April and this is our first month TTC. I thought I would be more nervous, but honestly I'm just excited and hopeful. Of course, it is in the back of my head that I could miscarry again, but I try to focus on the hopefully being pregnant again and holding that baby in my arms.

Goodluck!! Hopefully it will happen as soon this time around too!
Just remember there is a greater chance you will go on to have a healthy pregnancy v.s another miscarriage. I think it's something like 80% or higher will go on to have a healthy pregnancy after a miscarriage.
I wouldn't worry about it, just try to stay excited and hopeful for next time around.

Only thing i can say is be patient. I know that you probably won't and I know its easier said than done b/c i am so frustrated with the process but just try to remember we are all here trying to have a child and you should see that light down the road- it will happen...it may not happen soon,....it can happen on your first try....and when it does your pain will pass.

thanks everyone, its so nice to have people to talk to. I hope that it happens again fast, but more then that, I hope that I don't worry once it finally does! It's nice to see stories about people getting pregnant again and everyhting working out!

Just remember that EVERY pregnancy is different. Just bc the first one didnt work out DOES NOT mean the next one wont.
I had a m/c at 9wks and went on to get pregnant 3 mons later and had a GREAT pregnancy and a wonderful and healthy baby boy

When I would get discouraged or scared I would remind myself that 80% of women go on to healthy pregnancy so the odds are totally in your favor. They always talk about the 20%....but they shoul be more positive and focus on the 80%.

I got pregnant a few weeks after my Miscarriage (not planned). Things are a lot different this time around. We are not jumping up & down because we know things can go badly. We are just keeping our news to ourselves. The Dr.s say this is a healthy normal pregnancy, so we are blessed. We are staying calm & relaxed about everything until we are out of the first trimester.
