First time Posting & Question!

Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking on the LIF site for a long time and have learned such great information from all of your posts! Looking forward to sharing information & chatting with you all.

My husband & I were TTC for the first time this past month. We didn't do any charting or temping. I was due for AF on 27th and there's no sign of it. For the past year I have had regular 29 day cycles, not once late even going back through cycles in the fall.
I've taken about 10 home tests over the past week and they are all negative. Is it possible I could be pregnant & its still not registering? My husband thinks I'm crazy because the tests say 99% accurate.

Besides just waiting, are there any other ideas or suggestions?

Re: First time Posting & Question!

It's definitely possible to get a false negative. I suggest waiting a few more days and testing again, if not another week.

One thing I've noticed is that sometimes when people start TTC their cycles suddenly change especially that first month. I don't know if it's anticipation or nerves or what, but it can happen. Plus summertime can also change a person's cycle.

I always had very irregular cycles so I don't have personal experience on this. I thought I was going back to a more regular cycle this year (we started TTC in January) because I was 32 days for the first two cycles this year. Then the third cycle nothing... I got a BFN on day 37 and I went to my GYN who did a blood test that was also negative on day 42.

Never got AF and got my BFP on day 67.

Would be completely unusual for you, but my cycles have been all over the place for the past two years so it wasn't that unheard of for me. Turns out I didn't O until around CD 47 the month I got pregnant.

Wishing you lots of baby dust!!! Welcome to the boards & glad to see you're posting!
