Cleaning burnt spills on a stovetop
So-we have a relatively new stove that my husband splashed some type of sauce on and I didn't know until a couple of days later. So it is burnt on the surface. The stove is less than a year old. It has black top-I guess ceramic or porcelain...how do I clean this? I have tried: magic eraser, vinegar and baking soda, regular cleanser, comet and even easy off! Any suggestions?

Re: Cleaning burnt spills on a stovetop
if you dont have any of the cleaners on hand. Sprinkle baking soda over the spot and put a trickle of water on it so it is like a paste and rub with a sponge. As long as it is pasty it takes it right up
