Looking for support!
After so much consideration, we decided to pursue domestic adoption.
Because of our age, DS's diagnostic, we are cannot age more biological children. Internations adoption is out because we are over 40. Except I wanted more children.
We were looking into foster care and after talking to our County, going to the orientation, etc... we really realized we wanted children that would be OUR children and essentially we would have liked to adopt from foster care.
So after figure out what we really wanted to do, we decided that we are gong to adopt domestically.
I am scared but excited.
Wish us luck as we embark in a new journey!
We will welcome any support/tips you may have.
I have FMd some of you. I have done a search on older threads. We are open to any suggestions, ideas and advice.

I wanted to wish you well and best of luck!! My husband and I just became Licensed Foster Parents. We plan on adopting his nephew in the future.
I know for us, it has been a long emotional roller coaster and continues but we know the end result is worth it!!
