TTC and not taking prenatals
so i have been TTC for the past two months, but have not taken prenatals yet.... am i horrible?

You are not horrible. I know people who didn't start taking them until they found out they were pregnant. You could always start if you wanted. It is up to you.

YES YOU ARE A TERRIBLE PERSON! LOL
No of course not... I was talking with my sister who just had a VERY healthy baby boy last week... and she wasnt taking prenatals... she was smoking pot, drinking coffee, and not taking care of herself and she was able to have a healthy baby...

No of course not... I was talking with my sister who just had a VERY healthy baby boy last week... and she wasnt taking prenatals... she was smoking pot, drinking coffee, and not taking care of herself and she was able to have a healthy baby...

WIth DC #1 I didnt start until I went to the dr and she gave me a script. I have a very happy, healthy and incredibly smart 2.5 yo now!
With DC #2 my friend who knew I was going to start TTC pestered me so I started when I started TTC. I just went to Target and got an over the counter prenatal.

My doctor told me that the regular multivitamins I was already taking was fine until I got my BFP. I've since switched over bc I ran out of the others and the target prenatals were so cheap.

I'm not trying to be a downer on this statement, but the baby is brand new, and just because everything seems healthy now, at 3 the child could have a lot wrong due to what the mother did.(I hope that's not the case and they child lives a very healthy life)
We really don't know 100% how much prenatals effect a baby or a child or even an adult.
since its recommended I would take them. Since you haven't gotten pregnant yet, there's nothing to worry about, but you could buy the over the counter ones, their cheap and easy to get. But your not a terrible person!

lol this is funny because every post here says dont worry about what you do before 6 weeks because your blood doesnt even mix with the kids yet...
